PTSD Poster Campaign Final
My PTSD campaign was the first project as part of the co creation module it was developed from an initial task and developed into a zine poster that would be used to help promote the importance of reaching out for support after receiving treatment. Therefore, I wanted to develop it with a series of designs that would also double as information in the form of a leaflet. I always loved these designs, ad feel the style was different for myself and yet still effective. However, when it came to the text it was always clunky and just didn't sit right.
Therefore, when it came to finalising this project I wanted to smarter up the text making it thinner and sleeker. Below shows this at the bottom with the link, I really like this and think it works a lot better. I don't want the text to feel overpowering from the image yet I still want the text to be clear enough to follow.
Poster Designs
Leaflet Design
As for the leaflet design, this was something rather similar. The text was too thick and made it feel over powered and chunky. The text also was very uneven and involved type with a range of different set making it seem odd and chaotic. The abstract shapes, were also too big and sat underneath the text making it not clear enough.
Therefore, when it came to changing the details I went it and fixed the text as well as made the abstract shapes smaller to sit under the drawings only. This made the leaflet feel a lot less busy and overall sat much clearer for the viewer to read.
Overall, i was really happy with this design, I felt it progressed nicely and fit the target audience and the purpose. It was also nice to see it come together and develop it into something more professional for it's purpose. From here it was important to see it in mock-up situations including the leaflet itself and also the posters on display.
