Project three- more greenhouse artwork

After completing a few different designs and illustrations I felt it would be nice to go back in and perhaps create another illustration including some of the greenhouse elements. Below shows this with an inspiration image from Kew itself. Below shows the final artwork with a combination of architecture and greenery.  

However, during the process I tried to experiment with different colours including different architecture colours to see how they could work and compare with the greens. Below shows the brighter version with a greener neutrals background. I did really like how this looked as it did have a softer approach however, I do feel the grey just works with a better contrast. 

 

I do really like this image, it feels a bit different from the rest of the stuff it is nice to create more of a scene then just the botanicals by themselves. However, after receiving some feedback there are some elements that definitely need fixing. For example the greens in the foreground on the left appear messy and lack some detail compared to other area of the image.
