Project three- branding thumbnails for packaging

 After doing a little bit of research and looking into different brandings, I felt it would be good to really experiment with some different idea. Below shows some different ideas for the logo. I knew I wanted to combine the traditional Kew logo and add to it to create that contrast. I think it is important to keep that traditional element as it is a recognisable element that will pull customers in. 

Looking at the designs I definitely feel the bottom one is my favourite. I really like the combination of adding in the modern calligraphy to create that real contrast. However, when receiving feedback, it felt quite messy where the font clips over the existing logo and therefore, I need to play around with perhaps having it sat better in the space.
