Thinking and experimenting with colour

When it comes to colour I feel it is super important to experiment and see how a different colour could effect the different assets. Below shows three experimentations from my digital  piece, I wanted to have a play around as I liked the neutral tones as they have that traditional feel. However, I accidentally saw the designs with a darker colour and felt it worked really well so maybe it could be a good idea to experiment. 

Above was the first experimentation. I wanted to try with a very dark navy to really make the greens pop. I really like how this looks and think it feels very current with house trends. I do feel if this was to develop I would want to add some brighter elements onto the full green cactus. As some have some bright elements that create contrast whilst some feel flat. 

Here shows the second design, I decided to play with a darker green background to really compliment the existing assets. I don't feel this particularly work for this designs it all feels washed out and seem to fade into each other. 

This shows the final design, something a bit lighter and softer, I really like how this one works. Like the darker one it makes the plants pop but this has a much softer look for someone with a lighter style.
