Project three-more digital experimentation

 After doing my first experimentation with a repeat pattern I felt it  would be great to revisit a digital experimentation and try to build a style for this project. Below shows this design, where I captured some illustrations inspired by the desert environment in the Princess of Wales Conservatory., For this design I kept to something a lot more simple. and really focused on adding in some pattern and texture. 

I really like this design and think it works really well. I wanted to see it progress towards being a repeat pattern and potentially a design for the wallpaper. Therefore, using procreate I played around with creating a half drop design and a neutral background inspired by traditional illustration. I really like how this looks and think when the pattern is formed it doesn't feel too structural. If I was to do this I think I will need to load this into adobe illustrator and use the pattern tool, as procreate lacks the quality in terms of pixels. Also trying to cut the design at the correct place so it would still match and fit seamlessly.
