Project Three- existing products

After doing some initial research I felt like a key part of this all included looking at existing products and see how I could create my own version of these products. All images were sourced from Pinterest and all follow the theme of flora and fauna. 

I really liked these curtains, they really stood out to me, I love the idea of bringing the pattern onto a large scale and in this case I think these look great in terms of fabric. I also particularly loved the colours in this case and think they worked really well to communicate that botanical inspiration. 

This set was another big inspiration I found on Pinterest. Like the wallpaper below, both these designs were by Josef Frank and included a range of simple yet detailed shapes. What particularly stood out to me was the use of colour, and how the artists had chosen contrasting colours to show detail and really draw the eye in whilst limiting to the colour palette.
