Project three- existing patterns

When it comes to my project repeat pattern plays such a big part of all my planned designs. Therefore as part of my research I felt it was important to look at some existing designs. Below shows five designs that I found on Pinterest. All designs are quite different and feature different style. Of course all follow the theme of botanical illustration and nature however, some are more simplistic and some have a sense of unique style. I really like each designs al for different reasons however, the ones that really draw me in on the pattern with the darker background as I felt they give a sense of contrast and really make the plants pop.
